Royal APU Tour 10 Days
A tour through the south of Peru; Lima, Arequipa, Cusco and Puno.
| Day 1 | Arrival in Lima. We will pick you up and bring you to your hotel where the national drink of Peru, a Pisco Sour, is waiting for you. | ||
| Day 2 |
Early
in the morning you will fly to Arequipa. In the afternoon you will head
for the centre and pay a visit to the Santa Catalina Convent. This
convent is one of the main reasons why Arequipa has been declared a
"Patrimonial Mundial". To finish the day, you will visit the oldest girl
in Arequipa, "Juanita". Juanita is a 500 year old Inca mummy which has
been extremely well preserved. She was found in 1998 at an altitude of
almost 6,400 meters above sea level in the ice of one of the mountains of
the Andes. |

| Day 3 | In the morning you will visit the
surroundings of Arequipa. With a guide you will visit El Molino de
Sabandia, a mill built in 1621 and located in a beautiful landscape.

| Day 4 | Today you will fly to the "Navel of the World", Cusco. In the afternoon you will go on a City Tour which includes the Cathedral and the Inca ruins Sacsayhuaman, Q'Enqo, Puka Pucara and Tambomachay. | ||
| Day 5 | A day for yourself. Perhaps you would like to go horseback riding, visit an Indian market, go for a walk in the Sacred Valley of the Incas or just relax for a day. | ||
| Day 6 |
This
day you will visit the city of the Incas that was lost for more than 400
years: Machu Picchu. Early in the morning you will leave and go by
vistadome train to Aguas Calientes. With a guide you will continue to
Machu Picchu where you the guide will try to unravel some of its many
mysteries. In the afternoon you will go back to Cusco by vistadome train
(upgrade Hiram Bingam train on request). |

| Day 7 | In the morning you will go by First Class bus to Puno. This trip has the character of an excursion, the bus will stop several times to visit the different sights and to lunch. Apart from a stewardess there will also be an English-speaking guide present. | ||
| Day 8 | In Puno you will take a boat early in the morning to visit the floating islands of Uros. Afterwards you will continue to the island of Taquile, an island where time seems to have stopped for half a century. |

| Day 9 | A bit later in the morning you will be picked up to visit the funerary towers of Sillustani. From Sillustani you will continue to the airport. You will fly back to Lima where we will pick you up and take you to Miraflores, the most luxury part of Lima. | ||
| Day 10 | The last day of your holiday. We will leave
it to you. Would you like to go shopping or would you prefer to visit
some museums? In the afternoon we will take you to the airport. An unforgettable experience richer.

Mini Royal APU Tour 6 Days
A
tour 6 day tour through the north of Peru; Lima, Chiclayo and Trujillo
with the highspots; the Lord of Sipan, the Bruning museum, the ancient
adobe city of Chan Chan, the adobe temples of the sun and the moon and
the mysterious temple of the sorcerer.

| Day 1 | Arrival in Lima. We will pick you up and bring you to your hotel where the national drink of Peru, a Pisco Sour, is waiting for you. | ||

In the morning you will fly from Lima (Juliaca) to Chiclayo. Chiclayo is the third city of Peru. In the afternoon (after the lunch) you will go on a City Tour, showing you all the sites in Chiclayo. | ||
| Day 3 (11) |
Today you will visit the tomb of the "Lord of Sipan". We
call him the Toetanchamon of Peru. Apart from Machu Picchu, this is the
biggest archaeological discovery of the century in Peru. You will not only visit the tomb, you will also visit the Bruning museum where you can see a lot of replicas of the treasures found in the tomb. |

In the morning you will go with a Royal Class bus to Trujillo (a 3-hour drive), where you will arrive at the end of the morning. In the afternoon you will go on a City Tour in Trujillo. |

Today you will visit the ruins of Chan Chan, the biggest adobe-ruin in the world. Afterwards your excursion will continue to the adobe temples of the sun and the moon and the mysterious temple of El Brujo. | ||
| Day 6 (14) |
The last day of this mini-tour. You will fly
back to Lima where you will be met to go on a City Tour. In the afternoon
you can use the room we have reserved for you in the Sheraton hotel.
Afterwards we will take you to the airport.

La
Mansión de Fundador is a big colonial building that was built by the
founder of Arequipa for his depressive son. The last place visited in
this excursion is the Monasterio de la Recoleta. This is a Franciscan
monastery from the 16th century with an impressive collection of books
from the fifteenth and sixteenth century. Then you will be brought back
to your hotel.
This
day you will visit the city of the Incas that was lost for more than 400
